Back to developments
This has been an amazing year at Media Development. Nine months ago our creative team collectively reconnected with our purpose, values, and vision. We restructured our business model to (force ourselves to) become even more client-focused, while maintaining constant creative challenges.
Advertising shops know that to be successful, you must exceed the client’s
expectations with amazing work – producing as efficiently as possible while
keeping your eye on the brand.
Better and faster – wow… there’s a new concept.
I’m always learning at Media Development. And just when I think that award winning quality and speed is king, I’m schooled at when to slow the hell down. Let me explain.
Media Development has had an open employment position for…well…for some time. Yes we could have filled the position many times over in the past months but didn’t. Nope. Susan kept saying that “filling the void” is the wrong way to go about it. More specifically, she said that she would rather leave the position open than to put the wrong person there (even when that meant that Susan’s workload would more than likely quadruple for months on end). Susan maintained that we must slow down, and imagine the ideal employee for that particular position.
This week we found that employee!
Meet Angie Wedding. Media Development's new office manager.
